SHS Athletic Participation Policy

A SHS student must be enrolled in a minimum of three courses per semester in order to be eligible for athletic participation.  These courses can include online classes and BCCC classes. Student-Athletes must pass three out of four classes and meet the same attendance requirements of all SHS students to gain credit for those classes and remain eligible. In addition, a student has to earn enough credits to be promoted to the next grade level. For example, if a 9th grader wants to play football in the fall of his 10th grader year, he has to have been promoted to the 10th grade to do so.
